WELCOME TO MALONA OF ADELAIDE

INTRODUCING THE MALONITES THAT LIVE IN ADELAIDE SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Welcome to the Malona of Adelaide Website. This web site has been established by MALONA SOCIETY OF ST.GEORGE "RHODES" South Australia Incorporated to record events that occurred in the lives of individuals and families that migrated from MALONA RHODES GREECE and settled in the beautifull city of ADELAIDE in South Australia, from about the late 1920's to the late 1960's. During the next few months members of the committee of Malona Society will load information, stories and photos of the Malonite migrant, of their birthplace Malona and of their adopted Adelaide. We would ask all Malonites, whether they live here in Adelaide or Malona Rhodes Greece to contribute to the construction of this web site, by informing us through the "contact us" link of their individual family stories, told by their parents, grandparents, etc. of the early days, their work and their achievements. We would also like to record some traditional Malona food and sweets recipes, and as many photos as possible, reflecting the Malona traditions, customs and culture. Enjoy the journey.
